Hello! My name is Zakharov Sawyer. I’ve been using this site for some time as a repository for things that are spawned from my imagination in one way or the other.
I’ve had many interests over the years, but they always seem to converge at gaming somehow. I’ve always taken an active interest in game design and the different parts of the industry that lead up to the creation, distribution, and continued maintenance of a product.
It isn’t a stretch to say that games have played a large part in my life and I’d like to think I
fully understand the way games fit in to the modern world. (Who am I kidding, nobody can understand it all. As with many people playing games out there, especially tabletop games, I’ve done my fair share of worldbuilding to build settings for running games, writing and entertaining myself. Honestly, I think I really just worldbuild for worldbuilding’s sake. I’ve always enjoyed learning new things and doing research and there’s always more to find when coming up with new things. Reality is stranger than fiction after all.

The Site Proper
I try to educate myself constantly and learn new skills often. I decided I had enough of Wordpress’s insecure and sluggish operation and wanted to go the route of a headless blog utilizing the JAMstack. I’m hoping that a fast, simple process will make updating the blog a far less painless and annoying process.
